The purpose of Creek Ministries is based on scripture found in Matthew
28:18-20, which says “Jesus tells us to make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (NIV)
Jesus tells us to do this by reaching people and building a solid
relationship with them, by ministering to them and teaching them about God’s
word.
Our vision is to establish a ministering relationship with youth. Through
worship, fellowship, discipleship, outreach, and leadership development we
will help youth become fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
We will offer a wide variety of programs and activities that address the
needs of the entire person and emphasize the ultimate desire to achieve a
Christ-like character and an unbreakable relationship with God.
We will provide a place for youth and their leaders to have fun, while
receiving Christian teaching and enjoying fellowship with their peers.
We respect and acknowledge the diverse Biblical theologies and doctrines,
but hold ourselves (the Church) accountable to only one true God. We
recognize other issues that face today’s youth like sexuality, abortion,
war, alcohol, tobacco and drug use to name a few, and urge each Church to
counsel accordingly.
